WORK
I am an adjunct Assistant Professor of International Studies at the University of Iowa and an instructor of Intercultural Competence for Kirkwood Community College Corporate Training program. I have worked in disability services for over a decade. I taught Geography in the Department of Geography and Planning University of Jos between 1995 and 2000. Before then I worked with the World Bank assisted Plateau State Agricultural Development Programme between 1988 and 1995. I taught High School Geography at Gonerit Memorial College 1986-1988. I served my nation, Nigeria, in the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program teaching at Idofin High School in Kwara State 1985-1986.

EDUCATION
I obtained a PhD in physical geography with emphasis on Synoptic Climatology from the University of Iowa in Dec 2009. I also have two masters degrees in Geography and Information Science from the same Institution. I graduated from the University of Jos, Nigeria with BSc (Second Class Upper Division) in Geography in 1985 and a Master of Science in Environmental Resource Planning in 1996. I have an associate of science degree in web technologies, certificates in excel, web design, web technology and database all from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, IA.
